Cheaper PIN-Debit Fees

Supermarkets can take advantage of cheaper PIN-debit network fees, as many of the debit networks have a cap on the per-transaction fee that these networks charge. Similarly for offline (Visa & MasterCard) debit, where supermarkets are only charged up to a certain amount in interchange fees, no matter how large the transaction is.
